Christmas 2008

Dec. 29th. Well we have finally rested up after a fun time with our family. They all came in on Tues. and left on Fri.(after we ran out of groceries) HA!! We had fun playing horseshoes, football, kick the can, indoor games, watching movies, visiting, and of course doing a lot of eating. Everyone was well which we were thankful for. We are looking forward to the next time we can all be together.

Christmas with Eda

Mildred and I went to Lubbock yesterday to have Christmas with Eda and had a good time. Eda sure enjoyed it, especially opening her gifts. We then took her out to lunch and she enjoyed that also. Terri and Hutch met us for lunch also. After lunch she was tired and ready to go back home to her easy chair.
Eda looked real good and she said she felt real good.

Thanksgiving is over and everyone is gone. We had a great time....lots of food....fellowship...games...movies...and our traditional biscuits and gravy.

Looking forward to Christmas when we can do it all over again. Cheri took these pictures of the West Texas sunset from our backyard.

Having fun here at the poor farm with grandkids. Two other grandkids didn't make it outside here for the picture. Heather and Blake are in Ft. Worth with his parents and Hutch is on his way to Cisco for Playoff game tomorrow.
